Somera Esperanto-Studado (SES), or Summer Esperanto Study, is a one-week-long summer event organized yearly by the E@I, which usually takes place in Slovakia. The aim of SES is to teach Esperanto to its participants.

In the morning, you can expect to be part of Esperanto courses for speakers at all levels and stages (i.e. from beginners to fluent speakers). The teachers and instructors are professionals. In the afternoon are lectures, games, excursions, dance courses, and etc. In the evening are concerts. The turnout for this event in the past years have been about 250 participants from over 30 countries of all ages with a large part being youths. There are also many participants for whom SES is their first contact with Esperanto.

SES will take place in the city of Martin, north of Slovakia, this year. It is easily reachable by public transportation. Also, SES is not some boring mishmash of lessons – it is an interesting event that will be entertaining for all participants. Moreover, the instructors are qualified and many cultural immersion programs are planned (e.g. concerts by famous, and soon-to-be famous, artists; film screening; International Evening; and etc). Excursions are also planned, including one to the beautiful Tatra mountain range.
