Pasporta Servo
Since 1974, Pasporta Servo, the precursor to Couchsurfing, has served as the worldwide network of Esperanto-speakers. Thousands of tourists, workers, students and travelers of all types have benefited and continue to benefit from this service.
Pasporta Servo in short is the address book of people from all over the world who open their homes for travelers to spend the night for free. The only condition? The guest must be an Esperantist.
Apart from the printed book, Pasporta Servo is also available online at pasportaservo.org. Esperantists can sign-up to host travelers from all over the world and/or to seek hosts while travelling themselves.
